Products requiring Autoclaves or Sterilizers to eliminate contaminants are usually enclosed chambers that introduce steam to sterilize products in the food or pharmaceutical industries. The chambers are usually pressurized and will have a single door or a pass thru, double door system for loading and unloading. Canning plants usually use Horizontal Retorts to sterilize the products after the cans have been sealed.
